Description:
The shell is bluish-white, moderately large, semi-transparent, and shiny. The early whorls are decollated (lost). The later whorls are nearly flat and somewhat shouldered at the tops. The shell has broad, low axial ribs that are strongest at the summit and fade toward the edge. The first three whorls of the teleoconch are probably lost. Of the remaining whorls, the numbers of ribs are: the second left whorl has eighteen ribs; the antepenultimate has twenty-four; and the penultimate has twenty-two ribs. The ribs weaken on the later whorls. The spaces between the ribs are broad and shallow and disappear toward the periphery. Sutures are well marked. The base of the body whorl is smooth and relatively long. The aperture is suboval and moderately large, with an acute posterior angle. The outer lip is thin. The columella is oblique and somewhat revolute, with a prominent fold just before its insertion. The parietal wall has a thin layer of callus.

Distribution:
The type specimen was found in the Pacific Ocean off the Viti Levu Group (Fiji region).
