Li Junhui
Li Junhui (李俊慧), born 10 May 1995 in Anshan, Liaoning, China, is a former Chinese badminton player who specialized in men’s doubles. He is 1.95 meters tall and plays right-handed. He partnered with Liu Yuchen to form one of China’s top doubles teams, known for fast net play and strong defense.
Highlights of his career include winning the 2018 World Championships in men’s doubles, plus Asian Championship gold medals in 2017 and 2018. The pair also won a silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Li was part of China’s gold-medal teams at the 2018 Asian Games, the 2018 Thomas Cup, and the 2019 Sudirman Cup.
Li retired from professional badminton on 12 November 2021 due to persistent injuries that prevented him from competing at the highest level.
