Boris Aleksandrovich Chernyshov (born 25 June 1991) is a Russian politician and deputy of the 7th State Duma from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR). He represents Moscow’s Orekhovo–Borisovo district and has served in the Duma since 2016.

Chernyshov was born in Voronezh and studied at the Higher School of Economics (graduated 2012) and Moscow State University (2014). He later led the LDPR’s Moscow branch and helped organize a protest at the Turkish Embassy after Russia’s 2015 Sukhoi Su-24 shootdown.

In the Duma, Chernyshov serves as Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science. In 2016 he drafted bills to regulate electronic cigarettes, proposing: no sales to minors, bans on vaping in public places like parks, and rules about ingredients. He and colleague Vasily Vlasov also proposed lowering the voting age from 18 to 16, a plan rejected by the government. They also suggested lowering the minimum LDPR membership age to 16 to attract more young people to the party.

Chernyshov has been sanctioned by several countries since 2022 in connection with the war in Ukraine, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, Ukraine, and New Zealand.
