Zvonimir Šeparović (14 September 1928 – 30 January 2022) was a Croatian jurist and politician. He taught Criminal Law at the University of Zagreb and served as the university’s rector from 1989 to 1991. He was seen as a pioneer of victimology and a vocal opponent of the death penalty.

In government, he held two important roles:
- Foreign Minister of Croatia from 31 July 1991 to 27 May 1992 under Prime Minister Franjo Gregurić. He also served as Croatia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in 1992.
- Minister of Justice from 15 April 1999 to 27 January 2000 under Prime Minister Zlatko Mateša.

Political life:
- Šeparović did not have a formal political party for much of his career but later joined the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and was part of its Central Committee. In 2000 he ran for president as an independent against HDZ’s Mate Granić. He finished last and urged his supporters to back Dražen Budiša in the second round.

Personal life:
- Born in Blato, he studied at the University of Zagreb and the University of Ljubljana. He was married to Branka Šeparović. He died in Zagreb at the age of 93.
