Linea Søgaard-Lidell
Linea Søgaard-Lidell is a Danish politician from the Venstre party. She was born on 30 March 1987 in Aarhus, Denmark.
She ran in the 2019 European Parliament election for Denmark, finishing fourth on Venstre’s list with 24,153 personal votes. Because of the Brexit seat redistribution, she won a seat in the European Parliament and sat with the Renew Europe group.
Linea Søgaard-Lidell served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 1 February 2020 until 14 November 2022. In November 2022, after being elected to the Danish Folketing in the general election, she resigned from the European Parliament. The seat was taken by Bergur Løkke Rasmussen.
She has been a member of the Folketing since 1 November 2022. She studied at Aarhus University and Maastricht University.
