Gabriel Cannon (August 25, 1806 – December 21, 1893) was a South Carolina politician and businessman. He started a cotton factory in Fingerville with partner Joseph Finger. Cannon served in the South Carolina House (1842–1846) and in the South Carolina Senate (1846–1862, 1876–1880). He was the 47th lieutenant governor, serving from December 9, 1856 to December 10, 1858, under Governor Robert F. W. Allston. A Democrat, he was born and died in the Spartanburg District, living to age 87.
