Yoo Hyun-jo

Yoo Hyun-jo (Korean: 유현조), born in 2005 and also known as Hyunjo Yoo, is a South Korean professional golfer who plays on the LPGA of Korea Tour. She turned pro in 2023 and has two LPGA of Korea Tour wins. She was named Rookie of the Year on the LPGA of Korea Tour in 2024.

Early life and amateur career
Yoo started playing golf in kindergarten and decided in third grade that she would become a professional golfer. At the 2022 Asian Games, she won an individual bronze medal and a silver medal with the Korean team, and she was the only amateur on the team. She also won the KB Financial Group Cup in 2022.

Professional career
In 2023, Yoo joined the LPGA of Korea Tour. In 2024, she won her first pro tournament, the KB Financial Group Star Championship, and finished in the top-10 in ten events, gaining a reputation for long drives. Her strong performance helped her earn a spot in the 2025 U.S. Women's Open, as she was ranked inside the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings top 75 (she was 59th before the tournament). She made her U.S. Women's Open debut at age 20 and advanced to the second round.

Major results
U.S. Women's Open: T36 in 2025. She has not yet played in the Chevron Championship, the Women's PGA Championship, the Women's Open, or the Evian Championship.

Career wins
Two LPGA of Korea Tour wins, including the 2024 KB Financial Group Star Championship.
