Attila Herédi
Attila Herédi (born 2 January 1959) is a former Hungarian football defender who later became a coach. He grew up in Jánoshalma and started his youth career with Újpest in 1972. He made his top‑flight debut in 1979 with Újpest and spent 1979-80 on loan at Ganz-MÁVAG SE. From 1980 to 1990 he played 221 league games for Újpest and scored 20 goals, helping the club win the Hungarian championship once and the Magyar Kupa three times. In 1990 he moved to Finland to play for FC Haka, where he stayed for one season, making 18 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
Internationally, Herédi earned five caps for Hungary between 1985 and 1988.
After his playing career, he became a coach. He was an assistant at Újpest from 1997 to 2000 and at Fehérvár from 2001 to 2002. He then managed Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC from 2003 to 2004. He returned to Újpest as coach in 2008-2009, then led Vecsési FC (2009-2010) and FC Tatabánya (2010-2011). He later coached Pápai FC (2011-2012), Jászapáti VSE and the Vác youth team (starting in 2013), and from 2015 has been in charge of Maglódi TC.
