William Ayers House

William Ayers House is a historic home in Fort Smith, Arkansas, at 820 North 12th Street. Built in 1888, this two-and-a-half-story wooden house has an irregular, asymmetrical shape with many dormers, gables, porches, and different wall textures. It showcases Queen Anne style with Stick/Eastlake details, including vergeboard in the gable ends, decorative cut shingles, and a chimney with corbelled tops. The house is regarded as an outstanding example of this architectural style in Fort Smith. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 8, 1999 (reference number 99000792).
