PUP is the debut studio album by the Canadian punk band PUP. It was released on October 8, 2013, and runs 34 minutes and 24 seconds. The music spans punk rock, hardcore punk, post-hardcore, indie punk, and pop punk. The album was recorded at Studio Mixart in Montreal and Orange Lounge in Toronto, with additional recording, and was produced by Dave Schiffman. It was released in Canada by Royal Mountain Records and later re-released on April 8, 2014 by SideOneDummy Records. All songs were written by PUP. Some tracks come from their earlier release Oceans, which they issued under the name Topanga. The recording received funding from the Government of Canada through the Canada Music Fund and private radio broadcasters.
