Wichita Art Museum (WAM) is an art museum in Wichita, Kansas, focused on American art. The collection has more than 12,000 works, with about 31,500 square feet of galleries where some pieces are on display.

The museum was started in 1915 from the will of Louise Caldwell Murdock to create the Roland P. Murdock Collection in memory of her husband. The first building opened in 1935 with borrowed art, and the first purchases were made in 1939. Elizabeth Stubblefield Navas helped build the collection until 1962. A foundation began in 1964 to raise funds for new acquisitions.

The building was expanded in 1963 with a new lobby and two wings. The city then asked Edward Larrabee Barnes to design a larger climate-controlled facility, finished in 1977. A major expansion in 2003 increased the size to about 115,000 square feet.

In 2020, the main entrance and lobby were renovated. The museum had about 80,000 visitors in 2023. The director is Molly McFerson, and a notable curator in 2017 was Tera Hedrick, a Wichita East High School graduate.

WAM is located at 1400 W Museum Blvd, Wichita, KS, United States. Website: wam.org.
