Kostolac Airport (Serbian: Aerodrom Kostolac) ICAO LYKT, IATA: none, is a public airport in Kostolac, Serbia. It is operated by the Government of Serbia and serves Požarevac. The airport is about 2 km from Kostolac town centre and near Požarevac. It sits on the Danube riverbank and was built in 1998 on land reclaimed from a power plant's ash yard. Elevation: 68 m (223 ft). It has one grass runway, 12/30, 700 m (2,297 ft) long. Landing is done over the Danube river, similar to landing on an aircraft carrier. An international air show is held every August. The airport is close to the ancient Roman city of Viminacium.
