Kgalagadi South
Kgalagadi South is a single-member constituency for Botswana’s National Assembly in the Kgalagadi District of southwestern Botswana. It has a population of 35,531 and covers 59,330 square kilometres. Tsabong is the major settlement and administrative centre. The area sits largely in the semi-arid Kalahari Desert, with dry plains and dispersed rural settlements. The constituency was created in 2004 when the former Kgalagadi constituency was split into two.
The current Member of Parliament is Tokyo Modise of the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC), who won the 2025 by-election by 2,840 votes (about 24 percentage points).
