Arusha Technical College
Arusha Technical College (ATC) is a public post-secondary college in Tanzania. Its motto is “Skills make the difference.” The main campus is in Ngarenaro ward, Arusha City, Arusha Region. ATC has three campuses: the Main Campus in Arusha City, Oljoro ward in Arumeru District, Arusha Region, and Kikuletwa in Hai District, Kilimanjaro Region.
ATC was established in 1978 by the governments of Tanzania and Germany as Technical College Arusha. It was renamed Arusha Technical College in 2007 under Establishment Order No. 78 and the NACTE Act No. 9 of 1997. The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) accredits ATC to teach technicians and engineers (NTAs 4–8), and VETA approves it to educate craftsmen (NVAs 1–3).

ATC runs three campuses. In 2011, it opened the Oljoro irrigation training farm (about 150 acres) in Oljoro ward to give Civil and Irrigation Engineering students practical training, located roughly 15 kilometers south of Arusha. In 2012, the Kikuletwa Renewable Energy Training and Research Center (KRETRC) was established on the Kikuletwa campus to train students in renewable energy, featuring the rehabilitated Kikuletwa Hydropower Plant.
