Walter Watson (November 1890 – 1956) was an English footballer from Sheffield who played as a winger. He spent his career with several clubs, including Worksop Town, Aston Villa, Rotherham Town, Kilmarnock and Chesterfield Town.

Watson began his senior career at Worksop Town and moved to Aston Villa in March 1912. He played three First Division matches for Villa in the 1911–12 season before transferring to Rotherham Town in 1913. He later had spells with Kilmarnock and Chesterfield Town. While with Chesterfield in the 1914–15 Midland League season, he scored three goals in 16 appearances, but was suspended after twice missing trains to reach games on time.

During World War I, Watson served in the York and Lancaster Regiment and suffered from shell shock. He also appeared as a wartime guest for Port Vale in 1919, in a 1–0 defeat to Manchester City.

After the war, he returned to Worksop Town briefly, then went back to Kilmarnock for the 1921–22 and 1922–23 seasons. Walter Watson died in 1956.
