Ansignan is a small commune in southern France, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department of the Occitanie region. It belongs to the canton of La Vallée de l'Agly and the arrondissement of Prades, and is part of the Agly Fenouillèdes intercommunality.

The village sits at about 42.76°N, 2.52°E. Elevation ranges from 155 to 583 meters, with an average around 235 meters. The area covers 17.84 square kilometers.

Population: 164 people lived there in 2023, giving a density of about 21 people per square kilometer.

Names: In Occitan the town is Ansinhan; in Catalan it is Ansinyà.

Government: The mayor for 2024–2026 is David Groult. The council is elected locally.
