Turner School is a historic building in Rockford, Illinois, at 1410 Broadway. Built in 1898 and named after city alderman J.M. Turner, it was designed by the local firm Bradley & Carpenter in a mix of Classical Revival, Colonial Revival, and Richardsonian Romanesque styles. The brick, two-and-a-half-story building sits on a limestone foundation with a hipped roof. It features a south-facing main entrance, an arched entrance in a projecting bay with a pediment, and an octagonal cupola with dormers. After the school closed, the building housed an abortion clinic from 1973 to 2011. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 29, 2015, and in the same year was approved to be used as a police station.
