Mong Bridge
Mong Bridge, or Rainbow Bridge, is a steel bridge across the Bến Nghé River in Ho Chi Minh City. It connects District 1 and District 4 and is one of the city’s oldest bridges. It was built in 1882 by Gustave Eiffel for the Messageries Maritimes shipping company, replacing a ferry. In 2005, the bridge was completely removed during the Saigon River Tunnel project and rebuilt as a footbridge. The statue of An Duong Vuong holding a magic crossbow was also dismantled. Coordinates: 10°46′05″N 106°42′13″E.
