Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf
Scooby-Doo! and the Reluctant Werewolf is a 1988 animated TV movie from Hanna-Barbera. In this goofy horror adventure, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and Scrappy-Doo go to Count Dracula’s castle in Transylvania for the Monster Road Rally, a yearly race among famous monsters. This year, Shaggy is chosen to become the next werewolf.
Dracula makes a deal with Shaggy: if Shaggy wins the race as a werewolf, Dracula will turn him back into a human and let the friends go free. Shaggy, with help from Scooby, Scrappy, and Googie (Shaggy’s girlfriend), faces traps and rival monsters trying to stop him. Despite the odds, Shaggy finishes the race, but Dracula cheats. The gang finds Dracula’s spellbook, escapes, and Googie uses the book to turn Shaggy back to human. Dracula is defeated when lightning strikes him into the sea, and the gang returns home to watch another horror movie and eat pizza.
