Some Cities Live is the first digital download–only release by the British indie rock band Doves. It was released on 17 April 2006 and runs 23 minutes and 49 seconds. The EP was recorded in 2005 during Doves' December UK tour, with each track recorded at a different venue. The exception is "Where We're Calling From"/"Pounding," which was recorded in New York in September 2005. All songs were written by Jez Williams, Jimi Goodwin, and Andy Williams, and produced by Doves. It was released by Heavenly Records/EMI. In the band's discography, it follows Sky Starts Falling (2005) and precedes Kingdom of Rust (2009).
