Trtnik is a small village in western Slovenia. It is southwest of Podbrdo, in the Municipality of Tolmin. It belongs to the Slovenian Littoral traditional region and the Gorizia statistical region. The village covers about 1.51 square kilometers, sits at 656 meters above sea level, and had 33 residents in 2002. Trtnik is pronounced [ˈtəɾtnik], and in German it is called Trennich. Coordinates: 46°12′36.26″N 13°57′43.35″E (46.2100722°N, 13.9620417°E).
