The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (1989 play)
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a 1989 American one-act play by Le Clanché du Rand. It adapts C.S. Lewis’s 1950 novel The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe—the first book in The Chronicles of Narnia—for the stage. The two-person production has actors playing multiple roles, including Lucy, Peter, the White Witch, and Aslan. Published in 1989 by Dramatic Publishing (Woodstock, Illinois), it’s aimed at school-age audiences and is licensed to theatres worldwide. The play premiered in 1989.
