Coiidae

Coiidae is not a valid or widely accepted family of ray-finned fishes. It was once proposed to be related to the Lobotidae and the Datnioides group (such as Datnioides microlepis). Its exact classification is disputed: some classifications treat it as the same as Datnioides, while others suggest it could be the same as Anabas. Because of these uncertainties, Coiidae remains a doubtful or undefined taxon in fish taxonomy.
