Trexenta
Trexenta, also known as Tregenta in Italian, is a traditional region in Sardinia, Italy. It sits in the northern part of what used to be the South Sardinia province and is now part of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari. The area covers about 400 square kilometers and includes 13 municipalities.
The landscape is mostly hilly in the east and becomes flatter toward the south. The economy is mainly farming, with cereals, olives, and grapes as the main crops. In the Middle Ages, Trexenta belonged to the Judicate of Cagliari, a medieval Sardinian jurisdiction.
