Kagran is a neighborhood in Vienna, in the 22nd district, Donaustadt. It covers 11.02 square kilometers and has about 69,700 residents. It used to be its own town, but in 1904/05 it joined Vienna as part of Floridsdorf, the 21st district. During Red Vienna, many municipal buildings and housing estates were built. Since 1954 Kagran has been part of Donaustadt. In the 1970s the city built large housing estates to the northeast of the town center, making Kagran more town-like than before.

Kagran borders Süßenbrunn, Breitenlee, Hirschstetten, Stadlau, and across the Old Danube Kaisermühlen. It is the fourth largest part of Donaustadt by area. The area has a mix of single-family homes and apartment buildings and is home to Donau Zentrum, Vienna’s largest shopping centre, opened in 1975. There are sports clubs such as Turnverein Kagran and Hellas Kagran, and a sports hall for basketball, volleyball, badminton, futsal and more. The Old Danube to the west and lakes at Süßenbrunn and Jessernig offer swimming spots. The Kagraner Brücke bridge connects Kagran with Kaisermühlen over the Old Danube. There are three U-Bahn stations on the U1 line: Kagran, Kagraner Platz, and Rennbahnweg.
