Miosynechodus mora is a dubious, extinct ray from the Miocene period in Sri Lanka. It was first described as a fin spine from a hybodontid shark, but today it is thought to be a tail stinger from a myliobatiform ray (a relative of stingrays). There is only one known species in this genus, Miosynechodus mora, named in 1969 by Deraniyagala. The holotype is a single tail stinger from Deraniyagala's collection, about 41 mm long, 10 mm wide and 6 mm deep, with five grooves along its length.
