Sonia Ruseler
Sonia Ruseler, born 28 November 1963 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, studied social and political sciences at the University of Cambridge. She worked for the BBC and ITN, and was an anchor for CNN International from 1993 to 2001. She holds Argentine and Dutch citizenship. In the private sector, she was senior vice president at The McGinn Group and at Chlopak Leonard and Schechter, two Washington, D.C.–based strategic communications firms. Later, she served as senior director of corporate communications for Arcos Dorados, the world’s largest McDonald’s franchisee, with operations across Latin America and the Caribbean.
