Theronia
Theronia is a small group of ichneumon wasps in the family Ichneumonidae. The genus was described by Holmgren in 1859. There are at least 30 described species found worldwide. Theronia wasps are parasitoids: many species lay eggs in caterpillars (Lepidoptera) and their larvae develop inside the host, while other species are hyperparasitoids that attack other parasitoids of Lepidoptera.
