Saint-Maurice-Colombier
Saint-Maurice-Colombier is a commune in eastern France, in the Doubs department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It lies about 7 km north of L'Isle-sur-le-Doubs. The commune was created in 1972 by merging Saint-Maurice-Échelotte and Colombier-Châtelot. It covers 113.29 square kilometers and had 875 residents in 2023. The elevation ranges from 292 to 491 meters above sea level. The town is part of the Montbéliard arrondissement and the Bavans canton, within the Pays de Montbéliard Agglomération intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Jacques Demangeon. The INSEE code is 25524 and the postal code is 25260. The area uses Central European Time (CET) and observes daylight saving time (CEST).
