The Year's Best Science Fiction: Eighteenth Annual Collection is a science fiction anthology edited by Gardner Dozois, published in 2001 by St. Martin's Press in the United States. It is the 18th volume in The Year's Best Science Fiction series. The book includes a 39-page summary of the year by Dozois, 23 stories that first appeared in 2000 (each with a two-paragraph introduction by the editor), and a seven-page list of honorable mentions. The collection runs 617 pages and is available in hardcover and trade paperback. It won the 2002 Locus Award for Best Anthology. It is preceded by The Year's Best Science Fiction: Seventeenth Annual Collection and followed by The Year's Best Science Fiction: Nineteenth Annual Collection.
