The Middle season 9
The Middle's ninth and final season, titled "The Farewell Season," aired on ABC in the United States from October 3, 2017, to May 22, 2018, with 24 episodes. The story centers on Frankie Heck (Patricia Heaton), her husband Mike (Neil Flynn), and their kids Axl (Charlie McDermott), Sue (Eden Sher), and Brick (Atticus Shaffer) in the working-class town of Orson, Indiana (a fictional town based on Jasper). The season concluded with a one-hour finale. A spin-off was in development but was canceled by ABC in November 2018.
