List of dam removals in Delaware

Delaware has removed several dams to keep rivers and streams flowing freely. One example is the West Street Dam on Brandywine Creek, which housed a water main owned by the City of Wilmington. It was removed in 2019 to help American shad return to the Brandywine Creek watershed.
