Dripsey GAA

Dripsey GAA is a Gaelic games club based in Dripsey, County Cork, Ireland. It fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football and is part of Cork GAA, in the Mid Cork area. The club plays at O'Brien’s Field and wears red and blue.

History
Dripsey GAA was founded in March 2005 after a split from Inniscarra GAA. Six players left Inniscarra, a public meeting was held, club officers were elected, colours chosen, and Dripsey joined the Cork County Board.

Rising quickly
The new club enjoyed early success. In its first year, 2005, Dripsey won the Cork Junior B Football Championship. In 2008 they won the Mid Cork Junior A Hurling Championship, followed by the Cork Junior A Hurling Championship. In 2009 they won the All-Ireland Junior Club Hurling Championship after beating Tullogher-Rosbercon 2–15 to 0–18 in the final.
