Texas Charge was a women’s professional softball team in the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). They were based in San Marcos, Texas, and played at Bobcat Softball Stadium. The team was founded on January 8, 2015, and folded after the 2017 season.

They began as the Dallas Charge, with their first game on June 3, 2015. They were originally headquartered in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with most home games at The Ballfields at Craig Ranch.

In 2015, Kevin Shelton was the general manager and Jennifer McFalls was hired as head coach, with Chez Sievers as an assistant. Jolene Henderson was the first player signed. The Charge finished 17-31, in fourth place, and lost in the NPF Championship semifinals to the USSSA Pride.

For the 2016 season, Jennifer Rocha became head coach. The team finished fifth and missed the playoffs. In 2017, the Charge moved to San Marcos and hired Crystl Bustos as head coach. In July, Bustos was replaced by Roman Foore. The team again finished fifth and did not make the playoffs.

In January 2018, the league stated the Charge had been dismantled after owner Joel Bartsch failed to exercise an exclusive purchasing option. The team’s players were listed as free agents, and the organization effectively ceased operations after 2017.
