The Pine
The Pine is a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in Creemore, Ontario, Canada. It first opened in Collingwood in August 2020 and moved to Creemore in spring 2024. The restaurant is owned by husband-and-wife team Jeremy and Cassie Austin, with Cassie as the general manager and Jeremy as the head chef.
The Pine began during Ontario’s COVID-19 restrictions as a 12-seat pop-up at an outdoor harvest table, taking its name from the pine forest surrounding that site. It offers a 17-course tasting menu with wine pairing and sources most ingredients from local producers across the Simcoe Region and Central Ontario. Although Jeremy isn’t Chinese by origin, his cooking is influenced by his time working in China and Hong Kong.
The Pine earned a Michelin star in the 2024 Toronto and Region Michelin Guide and retained its star in 2025. The restaurant has seating for 24 and is located in Simcoe County, within the northern part of the Greater Toronto Area. More information is available at thepinecreemore.ca.
