Jamie Geller
Jamie Geller (born May 29, 1978) is an American cookbook author, television producer, and businesswoman. She is the Chief Media and Marketing Officer at Aish and founder of Kosher Network International, formerly Kosher Media Network. In 2010, her Joy of Kosher with Jamie Geller online cooking show, print magazine, and PBS Chanukah special launched, helping build a major kosher media brand. She has been called the "Kosher Rachael Ray" and the "Queen of Kosher." She has published eight cookbooks and runs jamiegeller.com and related channels, with millions of online views and followers.
Early life: She was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Abington, Pennsylvania. She attended Akiba Hebrew Academy High School and New York University, where she studied broadcast journalism and Hebrew language and literature, graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, in 1999.
Personal and religious life: Geller is a baalat teshuva, embracing Orthodox Judaism in her 20s. She made aliyah to Israel in August 2012 and settled in Beit Shemesh.
Career path: Before cooking, she worked as a writer and producer for CNN, Entertainment News, the Food Network, and HBO. She published her first cookbook in 2007, Quick and Kosher Recipes from the Bride Who Knew Nothing, followed by Quick & Kosher: Meals in Minutes in 2010. Over more than 15 years, she has published eight books and built a website with thousands of recipes and videos that have billions of views. In 2021 she launched a kosher product line (spices, honey, pilaf) and joined forces with Aish to expand their media network.
Current: Kosher Network International, including jamiegeller.com and her social channels, has more than 2 million followers.
