The 2020 United States Shadow Senator election in the District of Columbia was held on November 3, 2020. The shadow senator is a DC-only position created to advocate for statehood and is not officially sworn into the U.S. Senate.

Incumbent Democrat Paul Strauss won reelection to a fifth term, with the largest share of votes in his career—81.2% and 251,991 votes.

In the primaries, Strauss and Eleanor Ory of the DC Statehood Green Party ran unopposed in their parties. Cornelia Weiss won a write-in campaign in the Republican primary.

In the general election, the results were:
- Paul Strauss (Democrat): 251,991 votes, 81.2%
- Eleanor Ory (DC Statehood Green): 31,151 votes, 10.0%
- Cornelia Weiss (Republican): 24,168 votes, 7.8%

Turnout was 59.9%. The election occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic, and mail-in voting was encouraged.
