Tadeusz Maćkała

Tadeusz Maćkała (born 2 November 1962 in Lubin) is a Polish senator from the Civic Platform. He studied at Wrocław University. From 1990 to 1994 he was deputy mayor of Lubin, and from 1994 to 1998 he served as mayor. As a student, he joined the Solidarity trade union. He has been a member of the Party of Christian Democrats and later the Solidarity Electoral Action. He later joined Civic Platform but was expelled from the party in 2006 for opposing other members in Lubin.
