Lars Gunnestad (born 18 February 1971 in Drammen, Norway) is a former Norwegian motorcycle speedway rider. He is a ten-time Norwegian Champion and earned 22 caps for the Norway national speedway team.

Career highlights
- Britain: He began with Sheffield in 1991, then spent most of his British career with Poole Pirates from 1993 to 1998 and again from 2000 to 2002. He missed the 1992 season despite signing for Poole and had a testimonial meeting at Poole in 2001. He appeared in five Speedway Grand Prix meetings as a wild card.
- Poland: Zielona Góra (1991–1992), Bydgoszcz (1993), Rybnik (2000–2001), Ostrów (2003).
- Sweden: Piraterna (1987), Indianerna (1988–2004), Valsarna (2005).
- Norway: NMK Drammen (1991, 1999).

Personal
His two sons, Lars Daniel Gunnestad and Thomas Gunnestad, are also speedway riders. Lars Daniel won the Norwegian Championship in 2011 and Thomas won it in 2012.
