Tōta Kaneko

Tōta Kaneko (September 23, 1919 – February 20, 2018) was a Japanese writer and poet. He was born in Chichibu, Saitama. He studied at the University of Tokyo and worked for the Bank of Japan. He died in Kumagaya, Saitama, on February 20, 2018, at age 98 from acute respiratory distress syndrome.
