Strong Heart is a country song by American artist T. G. Sheppard. It was written by Tommy Rocco, Charlie Black, and Austin Roberts, and recorded in 1985. The song was released in May 1986 as the first single from the album It Still Rains in Memphis; the B-side is "What You Gonna Do?" The track runs 3:36 and was released by Columbia Records, produced by Rick Hall. "Strong Heart" became Sheppard's 14th and final number-one hit on the U.S. country singles chart, spending one week at the top in August 1986. It followed the 1985 single "In Over My Heart" and preceded the 1986 release "Half Past Forever (Till I'm Blue in the Heart)."
