Coquillettidia adamowiczi is an extinct mosquito species in the genus Coquillettidia. It lived about 34 to 40 million years ago during the Late Eocene period of the Cenozoic era. The species is named in honor of Pawel Adamowicz, the mayor of Gdańsk. Only one male specimen is known, preserved in Baltic amber, and it measured about 6.4 millimeters long. It is possible that this mosquito could have carried avian malaria.
