221628 Hyatt, designated 2006 YE13, is a background asteroid in the outer part of the main asteroid belt. It orbits the Sun every 5.54 years (about 2,025 days) at a distance of 2.4 to 3.9 AU, with a semi-major axis of about 3.13 AU. The orbit is fairly eccentric (e ≈ 0.25) and highly inclined (≈ 32.5°). Hyatt is about 7 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 26 December 2006 by Alex Gibbs of the Catalina Sky Survey and is not part of any asteroid family.

Its classification sits near the boundary between asteroids and comets, with a Jupiter-family–like Tisserand parameter of about 2.93. No rotation period or spectral type is known, and it has not been observed by major infrared surveys. A precovery image from 2000 extends its observation arc. Hyatt was named after Hyatt M. Gibbs (1938–2012), a physicist and professor at the University of Arizona who studied quantum optics.
