Shelley High School is a public high school in Shelley, Idaho. It’s the only high school in the Shelley School District and is located at 570 West Fir Street, Shelley, ID 83274.

The school serves grades 9–12 and has about 785 students with a student-teacher ratio of roughly 22 to 1. The principal is Burke Davis, and the teaching staff is about 36 full-time equivalent. The school colors are red, black, and white, and the mascot is King Russet, a Russet Burbank potato. The teams compete in IHSAA Division 4A, with Snake River High School as a rival.

Students are nicknamed Russets, and the school is sometimes called the “spud cellar” because of its potato town roots. Shelley High offers many sports, including basketball, swimming, softball, baseball, football, wrestling, track, golf, cheer, and soccer, as well as clubs like FFA, Key Club, Drama, BPA, Speech & Debate, Art Club, and AcaDeca. The football program has won state championships in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2012, and 2013.

Notable alumni include Curt Brinkman, a Paralympic athlete who won the Boston Marathon wheelchair division in 1980 and earned five Paralympic gold medals. A park across the street from the school honors him.
