Drippin is a South Korean boy band formed by Woollim Entertainment in 2020. The group originally had seven members—Yunseong, Hyeop, Changuk, Dongyun, Minseo, Junho, and Alex—but Alex left in July 2023 due to health issues, and the group continued as six. They debuted on October 28, 2020 with the EP Boyager. The name Drippin signals their aim to be cool and influential in music and fashion, and they worked to write a new history in K‑pop. Before debut, most members competed on Produce X 101, with Cha Jun-ho later joining the project group X1. A pre-debut release, “1M1S” by W Project 4, charted on Billboard’s K‑pop Hot 100.

From 2020 to 2022, Drippin released several projects: A Better Tomorrow (lead single “Young Blood”), Free Pass (lead), and the promo single “Vertigo.” Their Villain era began in 2022 with the EP Villain and the single “Zero” from Villain: Zero, followed by the studio album Villain: The End. They made their Japanese debut with “So Good” in 2022. In 2023, after Alex’s hiatus, they released the Japanese single “Hello Goodbye” as a six-member group, and followed with the single album Seven Sins and a short movie EDEN; they held their first fanmeeting in July. Changuk also took a health break during this period.

In 2024, they released Beautiful Maze, which sold strongly, and in August issued Weekend, another high-selling release. In 2025, Yunseong announced his enlistment for March 24. Hyeop and Dongyun later joined the Mnet show Boys Planet; Hyeop was eliminated, and Dongyun finished 43rd.
