Saint-Valère is a small municipality in southern Quebec, Canada, in the Centre-du-Québec region. It is part of the Arthabaska Regional County Municipality. The area covers about 108 square kilometers. In 2021, 1,118 people lived there, giving a low population density of about 11 per square kilometer. Saint-Valère was formed on January 1, 1862. The mayor is Marc Plante. It is in the federal riding of Richmond—Arthabaska and the provincial riding of Arthabaska. The postal code is G0P 1M0 and the area code is 819.
