Ronnie Sharp, nicknamed Pancho, was born on 1 April 1957 in Dundee, Scotland. A right-handed darts player who started in 1975, he uses 24-gram Target Signature darts and walks on to “Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake. Sharp played in the British Darts Organisation (BDO) from 1985 to 1997 and again from 2005 to 2019, and he joined the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 2021.

Key career moments
- 1990 World Championship: reached the quarter-finals, beating Kim Jensen and John Lowe before losing to Phil Taylor.
- 1991 and 1993: early exits (first round and second round respectively).
- 1994 World Championship: his best run, reaching the semi-finals after defeating Trevor Nurse, Roland Scholten, and Troels Rusel; he then lost to John Part 5–1. Part won the title that year, and Sharp was the only player to win a set against Part in the tournament.
- 1995 World Championship: second-round exit.
- TV and later years: appeared on Bullseye, raising money for charity. Returned to competitive play in 2006 at the Scotland National Championship (reaching the quarter-finals), competed in the 2006 World Masters (first round), and played in the 2008 Welsh Open (last 128). He has been active with Towerlands Sports Club in the Dreghorn League and has been involved with the Ayrshire county team.
- 6 November 2021: rejoined the Professional Darts Corporation.
