Redpath Township, Traverse County, Minnesota
Redpath Township is a small rural area in Traverse County, Minnesota. It was organized in 1881 and named after an old Native American trail inside its borders. The township covers 39 square miles, all land, and sits about 1,004 feet above sea level.
As of the 2000 census, 35 people lived there, in 14 households and 11 families. The population density was about 0.9 people per square mile, with 21 housing units.
Racially, about 94% were White and 6% were Hispanic or Latino. Of the 14 households, 28% had children under 18, 86% were married couples, and 7% were individuals. The average household size was 2.50 and the average family size was 2.67.
The population included 20% under 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 14.3% from 25 to 44, 31.4% from 45 to 64, and 25.7% 65 or older. The median age was 47. For every 100 females, there were about 106 males.
Income levels were modest: median household income was $29,375; median family income was $46,250; males had $22,917 and females $23,750. The per capita income was $16,190. No one lived in poverty.
