Lloyd Snelgrove (born March 27, 1956) is a Canadian politician who represented the Vermilion–Lloydminster area in Alberta’s Legislative Assembly from 2001 to 2012. He was elected as a Progressive Conservative and re-elected in 2004 and 2008. Snelgrove briefly served as Alberta’s Minister of Finance under Premier Ed Stelmach. On January 27, 2012, he left the PC caucus to sit as an Independent after disagreements with Premier Alison Redford. He was born in Vermilion, Alberta, and resides there.
