Sowbane mosaic virus
Sowbane mosaic virus (SoMV) is a plant virus that infects potato and grapevine. It belongs to the Sobemovirus genus in the Solemoviridae family. Infected plants show chlorotic mottling and leaf lesions, followed by yellow flecking and star-shaped patterns. Synonyms include Apple latent virus 2, Chenopodium mosaic virus, Chenopodium seed-borne mosaic virus, and Chenopodium star mottle virus.
